Butcher Ludwig Hatecke supplies Tschierv Alpin (dried venison) and Cristal d'Engiadina (dried meat from the Grisons mountains), and his specialities have not only the finest taste but also the most beautiful Rhaeto-Romanic names. The Grisons meat and other specialities available from the store are both original and timelessly beautiful.

Hatecke's charcuterie is not only unique in its shape. It's also larger, so it doesn't dry out as quickly, and it's made without adding pork fat. As a flavour purist, Hatecke uses lamb, ibex or venison and wants the flavour of the dried sausage to come only from one type of meat. Also in the tradition of the Engadine butchers, only one animal was slaughtered and processed at a time. In addition to dried meat, this stylish butcher's shop offers Engadine organic meat from its own butchery.
