For leisurely walks or adventurous hikes, St. Moritz is surrounded by over 580 kilometres of trails. From lake hikes to panoramic and themed trails to glacier hikes, the Upper Engadin has something for everyone who enjoys hiking. Let the views from Muottas Muragl over the mountains and lakes inspire you as they once did the artist Segantini. Or discover Piz Nair, Corviglia and Marguns with its green hollows, thunderous mountain streams and  crystal-clear lakes. Put on some sunscreen, lace up those hiking boots and pack a backpack – time to hit the trails!

With the "Mountain Railways Included" offer, guests who spend more than one night in one of the over 100 participat-ing hotels receive the mountain railway ticket for up to 13 mountain railways in Upper Engadin free of charge.

Schellenursliweg
The Schellenursli-Trail St. Moritz leads from the Heidi Hut on Salastrains down to the village and tells the well-known story from the Engadin with pictures and wooden sculptures.

Around Lake St. Moritz
Take a leisurely stroll around Lake St. Moritz while watching the ducks and enjoying the view of the town. Benches along the way invite you to linger.

Heidi's Flower Trail
A walk with beautiful views, wild pine forests and diverse flora. Between June and October, almost 100 species of flowers are in bloom along this 1 km long path. Starting point is Chantarella. 
 
Segantini Trail
This half-hour-long nature trail from the Hotel Soldanella goes past the Segantini Museum and ends at Suvretta. Six stops along the way provide information about the famous painter Giovanni Segantini and his work.

Stazerwald
Trails through the forest start at the St. Moritz Train Station and go along Lake St. Moritz, past the Meierei to Lake Staz and then on to Pontresina or Celerina.

Chantarella – Suvretta
A sunny trail that goes from Chantarella over Salastrains to Suvretta with a wonderful  panorama over the mountains and the lakes of the Upper Engadin.

Heidihütte
The original Heidi's hut from the Heidi movie filmed in the Engadin stands above St. Moritz and can be visited any time.
