Souvenir St. Moritz with
Lucas Blalock
and the project itself.
Lucas Blalock, born in North Carolina, creates darkly comedic photographs that intentionally highlight the use of image editing software. His works are included in the collections of the Whitney Museum, MoMA, and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

Souvenir No. 5
Lucas Blalock's Souvenir St. Moritz No. 5 is the latest in a series of yearly publication showcasing one artist's take on St. Moritz. Blalock’s Souvenir takes this commission quite literally and collects a suite of 67 posters advertising both the town and the project itself.
Previous Souvenirs have been contributed by Torbjørn Rødland, Roe Etheridge, Colin Dodgson, and David Sims & Jake Chapman. Souvenir St. Moritz is curated by Gianni Pisano.

Souvenir Cinema
Souvenir Cinema, presented at the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, is the second phase of this investigation in which Blalock overlays an imaginary tourism bureau onto the consulate’s lobby as another means of exploring his St. Moritz of the mind.
Souvenir Cinema is part of Art @ The Consulate, a curatorial initiative by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York.
