Winter Hiking & Snowshoe Hiking
Winter hikes and snowshoe hikes are the perfect way to enjoy an intensive experience of unspoilt nature and explore the enchanting snowy landscapes of the Upper Engadine both on and off the prepared trails.
The Engadine offers plenty of variety on around 150 kilometres of well-maintained trails, ranging from short trails for beginners or families to challenging routes. There are marked circular routes, for example starting from the Muottas Muragl top station. In addition, most winter sports schools offer guided tours.
Suitable equipment can be rented from the winter sports schools or the sports shops.
The Diavolezza cable car is in operation, but all ski slopes are closed. Corviglia and Muottas Muragl will open their summer season on June 10, 2023, Corvatsch on June 17, 2023. •The TIME Magazine has listed St. Moritz among the 50 World's Greatest Places of 2023. •Souvenir St. Moritz Volume 4 is a unique collaboration between two British artists: David Sims and Jake Chapman.
