Snowkiting
Snowkite throughout the winter season in the Engadine. Experience the thrill of being pulled over the frozen surface of Silvaplana Lake on skis and snowboards during the winter months.
As a counterpart to summer kitesurfing, snowkiting offers a sporting challenge and lots of fun in the snow. From mid-January to mid-March, you can experience the thrill of a winter kite pulling you over snow-covered Lake Silvaplana on your own skis or board.
Another popular snowkite location is the area around Lago Bianco at the Bernina Pass. Snowkiting is a great introduction for anyone interested in getting into the sport of kitesurfing. The Silvaplana Kite School offers individual and group lessons.
