Kazakh-born pianist Oxana Shevchenko presents a carefully curated programme inspired by the musical world of Paris, featuring works by Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, Maurice Ravel, Igor Stravinsky, George Gershwin and Alfredo Casella.
Artistic career
Shevchenko is a prize-winner of the Scottish International Piano Competition and performs internationally. She has appeared in renowned venues such as the Tonhalle Zürich, the Sydney Opera House and Wigmore Hall. Her debut CD was selected as an Editor’s Choice by Gramophone magazine.
Setting
The recital takes place at Vic’s Bar in Hotel Reine Victoria in St. Moritz. The concert lasts around 90 minutes. Admission is free, with a collection in favour of the artist.
