Books, newspapers, architectural plans, paintings, and films witness the rise of St. Moritz to one of the most well-known holiday destinations in the world. Twice a year, large-format images and photographs made available by the documentation library can also be admired in the Design Gallery in Parkhaus Serletta.
The Documentation Library documents the history, present, and development of St. Moritz. It represents the memory of the municipality and the resort, making it a unique institution in Switzerland. The collection includes photographs, image data, audiovisual media, printed matter, posters, literature, and more, from and about St. Moritz. The Documentation Library aims to provide the easiest possible access to its collections for a broad public – in a simple and contemporary format.
