The Observatory by Randolins is arguably one of the most unusual types of accommodation anywhere in Switzerland. The historic building from 1924 is part of the resort-like mountain hotel Randolins and towers high above St. Moritz on the Suvretta slope. In 2020, the former observatory was lovingly converted and repurposed as an extraordinary hotel room, complete with cosy double bed and has been available for bookings ever since. The dome of this exhilarating revolving room can be opened in good weather to reveal a magnificent view of the Engadin mountains, Lake Champfèr and Lake Silvaplana. And, of course, on clear nights the starry sky twinkles resplendent right above the bed. A unique experience, especially for couples.
