The St. Moritz Winter Opening Weekend will get off to a flying start as St. Moritz becomes a stage for international athletes as well as serving up a dose of 90s nostalgia in a series of open-air concerts featuring international artists.
Pay your respects to the Para athletes on Friday evening and join the award ceremony of the Para Ski World Cup on the Plazza dal Rosatsch. Afterwards, Italian flair comes into play with pop-rock legend Umberto Tozzi. His hits "Ti amo" and "Gloria" make him one of Italy´s best-known music stars.
On Saturday evening, two top acts will be providing the party atmosphere: Latin-pop singer Lou Bega, whose "Mambo No. 5" topped the charts in more than 20 countries and Haddaway, who were hugely successful in the 1990s with Euro-pop hits including "What Is Love". On both days, visitors can look forward to a varied programme with live performances, DJ`s and street food. The perfect weekend to get your 1990s neon-coloured ski suit down from the attic and ring in the winter on the Engadine slopes!
