Upon entering the first primary school class in Chur, Fritz Egger immediately started piano lessons. After six years of mainly classical lessons, a bar pianist instructed him for two years in playing so-called light music. Pieces like Lady Madonna, Tiger Rag or St. Louis Blues made him much more fun.
After that, i.e. after more than three decades, he discovered boogie playing. He also likes rock and pop. For more than a decade he also accompanied the Nostalgiechörli Bad Ragaz. For a good two years he has been playing with his colleague Eddy Baumgartner, an accomplished boogie and blues pianist, at a wide variety of venues. Numerous are their performances in Tertiani, where they offer a wide range of styles. But they can also be heard and seen in hotels, pubs and event venues.
