From 1 to 2 March the final FIS Freeski World Cup competition of the season is held again in Corvatsch. What´s at stake isn´t only the honour of being best on the day and CHF 50,000 in prize money, but also the coveted crystal globe that goes to the World Cup overall winner. Around 100 athletes from around the world will ski, jump and slide down the spectacular slopestyle course. These young freeskiers will offer onlookers a great show with a host of acrobatic tricks. When executing ´doubles´ and ´triples´, skiers will fly up to 30 m through the air at a height of 8 m. Slides and jibs performed on so-called rails are met with astonished looks. Onlookers can follow the action directly alongside the course and on the giant screen in the Event Village at the Murtèl middle station.
