The drive-in cinema achieved real cult status in America in the 1950s and 1960s. There were over 4,000 of them in the USA at the time. From there, the trend spilled over to Europe in the sixties. Instead of American drive-in movies, "La dolce Vita" and "Breakfast at Tiffany´s" could soon be seen here.
St. Moritz is reviving this era in July and August, showing film classics from various decades. The audience will be treated to a varied programme enriched by the culinary specialities of the Kulm Country Club. The screenings start at nightfall at 9.30 pm and are scheduled on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings as well as on selected Sundays. Beforehand, there will be plenty of time for a sophisticated aperitif at the Kulm Country Club.
Tickets and the exact programme will be available online at stmoritz.com from the end of May. Tip: Please wear warm clothes and take a woollen blanket with you if necessary.
