The SwimRun competition is a 45 kilometer race in the Upper Engadin. Taking place for the first time in 2014, the SwimRun now has a save-the-date in every athletes race calendar. SwimRun in the Engadin stands for cold water, warm air and all at an altitude of 1800 meters over sea level.
The swimming routes are mostly calm and all the more beautiful due to the mountain panorama. The typical Engadin wind kicks in in the afternoon causing the swimming passages to be a bit choppy with a current. There are two lengths available, both done in team mode.
