Inspired by the filming of the Willy Bogner film "Fire & Ice", Bob Run Skating took place for the first time on the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina in 1991. At that time, up to 150 ice hockey players in full ice hockey gear skated down the Olympia Bob Run St. Moritz-Celerina at up to 80 km/h and delivered exciting races.
On Saturday, 19 February 2022, there will be a revival of this legendary event. Licensed ice hockey players aged 16 and over will conquer the 1722 metres and 19 curves from St. Moritz to Celerina on the fastest route and race for victory in the individual and team rankings.
Bob Run Skating Kids
Between 4.00 and 5.00 p.m. children will have the opportunity for the first time to skate down the Olympic Bob Run St. Moritz - Celerina in ice hockey gear and with full-face helmet to the Horse Shoe. The children will then be brought back to the start with a shuttle. The event is "just-for-fun" and without timing. Children between the ages of 8 and 15 who are actively playing in an ice hockey club are eligible to start. Written confirmation is required.
