The exhibition in Villa Arona is dedicated to the spa doctor and painter Peter Robert Berry (1864-1942) and provides insights into the artist’s work, which spans more than 40 years. In his landscape paintings, all created in the great outdoors, you can still feel the power of light and the glow of the colours to this day.

The collection in the Berry Museum provides a deeper insight into the artistic work of the artist Peter Robert Berry. Also on exhibit is his extensive and culturally important legacy, consisting of books, letters, notes, diaries, music, and numerous documents such as maps, brochures, and writings on the founding and development of the health resort of St. Moritz, which are restored and exhibited. Most paintings, pastels, and drawings created over the years are now family property.

Life, work, and landscape are combined in the exhibition to create a unique documentation of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
