Writing workshop with writer Anuschka Roshani
It can be a wonderful freedom to pause and perceive the world again with the wonder of a child: as if you were seeing everything for the first time. And this is particularly easy and enjoyable with a pen in your hand. This workshop is intended to help you to look at yourself and your life differently, namely from a playful, easy distance. We promise - all you need is a pen, paper and the curiosity to remember yourself by writing for a few hours. And lo and behold, you will get to know yourself a little bit again, see episodes or whole chapters of your life as familiar and foreign and learn to explain them to yourself. Without any burdensome school pressure to have to produce a good essay, but with the great joy of simply letting your thoughts run wild - and the guarantee: writing makes you happy. Anuschka Roshani, a studied behavioral biologist, has been writing as a journalist for three decades; for seven years she was an editor at "DER SPIEGEL" in Hamburg, and for over twenty years at "Das Magazin" in Zurich. She has also published two books: "Komplizen. Memories of my still living parents" (2018) and "Gleissen. How LSD cured me for life" (2022). Her new book "TruBoy" about the American writer Truman Capote will be published in late summer.
