Costs: One course 3 hours total CHF 65.

plus 25.- material costs: small watercolor box, brushes and watercolor block (optional).

You can bring your own watercolors. Course language EN / with translation into German

Limited number of participants: 6-8 persons

Participation in one or both courses is possible.

Aquarelle course

The topic is light and shadow in the Engadine. The most important watercolor techniques are presented: image composition, tonal values, colors, mixing and transitions, wet on wet, etc. are discussed.

The course offers enough time to paint yourself and individual creativity is encouraged. Work takes place in the Turo Pedretti studio. Victor imparts his knowledge and enthusiasm for the art of watercolor painting.

A course for beginners as well as advanced students who enjoy watercolor painting and want to refine their technique.

VICTOR A. SCHIRO painter

Victor Schiro is a renowned landscape painter from California, he comes from a Greek-Italian family. He completed his master's degree at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts), was then chief curator of GEL Gemini in Los Angeles and then spent many years as a filmmaker in Los Angeles.

For over 25 years he has devoted himself exclusively to painting again. He is a member of the "Oil Painters of America, OPA" and the "California Art Club, CAC" and has received numerous international awards for his oil paintings and watercolors.

He has been living in Europe with his family for three years, first in France and now near Basel. The intense Engadine light and the mountain landscape have inspired his painting for 20 years.
