What do Charlie Chaplin, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy have in common? Right, they all belong to the greatest movie actors ever seen in Hollywood.

Reason enough for the Graubünden Chamber Philharmonic to combine these three screen heroes with the performance of three films.

Jens Jörg Troester - Laurel and Hardy: "Liberty" Charlie Chaplin: "The Rink" Jens Jörg Troester - Laurel and Hardy: Big Business Laurel and Hardy (also known as Dick and Doof) start with their silent film "Liberty" (in English: "Die Sache mit der Hose"), which, according to film critics, is supposed to contain some of their funniest moments. Then we continue with the grandmaster "himself" – Charlie Chaplin and his film "The Rink" ("The Roller Skating Rink"). As in many of his films, Chaplin also shows in "The Rink" his probably best-known character, the "Tramp", to whom a series of accidents happen. At the end of the evening Laurel and Hardy return with the film "Big Business". Also produced as a silent film, this work also leaves plenty of room for music due to its construction and thus offers the audience a first-class cinema night together with the other works.
