Musica da Sot The Chapella Clavadatsch was founded in 1988 and owes its name to the "Acla Clavadatsch", an old cowshed in the ski resort high above St. Moritz in the sunny Engadin, which now serves as a party hut for well-heeled tourists and where the band played for the first time for dancing. The five musicians have their roots in the Engadin, but they now live (almost) all scattered in different parts of Switzerland. In the 30 years of making music together, a deep friendship has developed and so they are happy to accept the sometimes great distances between their individual homes in order to be able to play together again from time to time. The Chapella Clavadatsch still plays in the typical Graubünden line-up with two clarinets, accordion and double bass. Line-up: Sonja Nick: clarinet Pius Baumgartner: clarinet Köbi Frischknecht: accordion Martin Räz: accordion Christian Frei: double bass
