Since 1985, it has been the most important snow polo tournament in the world. Six "high goal" teams, made up of world-class players, offer a unique spectacle on the frozen lake of St. Moritz.
The prestigious winter polo tournament will be held for the 41st time in 2026. The sport combines style, beauty, tradition, and emotion with the unique atmosphere on Lake St. Moritz. Polo is considered the game of kings and the pinnacle of all equestrian disciplines. Six teams of four players compete for victory. While pushing is permitted in the race to win the ball, the protection of the horses and sporting fairness are always paramount.
The St. Moritz Polo Tournament is held in the top division ("High Goal") and is considered the world's most highly endowed tournament on snow. Alongside the sporting events, the tent city is a vibrant hubbub with diverse entertainment and top-notch dining.
