Every year, the world's elite in Paralympic skiing meet in St. Moritz. Every December, PluSport Behindertensport Schweiz, together with St. Moritz Tourism, organizes the FIS Para Alpine World Cup on the World Cup course.
Around 100 athletes from 20 nations compete on the Corviglia.
St. Moritz opens the World Cup season in para-sport with two training sessions and two downhill runs on the World Cup course.
The top international athletes compete in the three disability-specific categories: Visual Impairment, Standing and Sitting. In addition, a time-factor system allows for a fair comparison of the different types of disabilities.

PluSport is the competence centre for sports for the disabled in Switzerland. As an umbrella organisation, PluSport promotes people with disabilities from recreational to elite sport. For all target groups, age groups, forms of disability, in different sports and always with the aim of integration and inclusion.
