Architecture walk - open doors in the Engadin and Bergell

Once the first port of call for athletes during the Winter Olympics, the ice pavilion, built in 1905, was renovated at the end of 2015 for around CHF 12 million. The English star architect Lord Norman Foster was commissioned to carry out the renovation and extension, with a bar being built on the ground floor and a restaurant with a terrace on the first floor. Based on the original, a lot of wood was used inside and out. The many historical pictures and old sports equipment also create a small museum in memory of the 1928 and 1948 Winter Olympics.

Guided tour of the iconic Kulm Country Club in Kulm Park with a focus on the historical and architectural background of the building as well as the renovations over the years. The tour also includes a general exploration of the premises.

Meeting point: at the main entrance to the Kulm Country Club
