The Jazz Trio: A jazz trio is a jazz trio.

Nothing more and nothing less are the Zurich musicians Florian Egli (saxophone), Raphael Walser (bass), and Johnas Ruther (drums) when they take the stage and start playing. For years, they have been engaged in private sessions, playing jazz standards, and later, at the monthly events of "The Jazz Trio invites," they have presented their music to the public. From this, an extremely well-practiced band has emerged, one that has absorbed the substance of jazz tradition without becoming rigid. The trio brings tracks from the Great American Songbook into the present and imbues them with a timeless quality, all with respect and their own unique focus.
