Music@ Concert with the band die Drahtzieher

The unmistakable sound of the wire-pullers artfully weaves together the influences of three well-travelled Gypsy Jazz musicians from Ravensburg.

Their numerous engagements with established greats of the genre do credit to the conspiratorial band name and give the trio the sovereignty to tastefully introduce new timbres and styles into the genre. In the imaginative arrangements of the wire-pullers, the instruments meet each other at eye level, precisely composed both rhythmically and harmonically.

The result is complex, almost chamber music-like moments that always carry the esprit of Gypsy Swing: deep melancholy on the one hand, fiery temperament on the other.

In concert, the pioneering spirit of the original compositions is complemented by selected classics of the genre to create a unique and exciting live experience.
