Monday, March 31, 2025 Chef's Table with Jan Luzi | Weingut Sprecher von Bernegg, Jenins Since 2007, Jan Luzi has been making Pinot noir, Pinot blanc and Completer from three hectares in Jenins, all three of which enjoy a high reputation. Production is based on the rules of biodynamic agriculture, and the wines are certified accordingly. Jan Luzi's precious items are served with a multi-course menu by Gero Porstein in the Waldhaus kitchen. He is best known for his Pinot noir and is a member of the "Vinotiv" association, which brings together 12 companies from four communities and represents the high level of winegrowing in the Bündner Herrschaft. Jonas Huber manages the 7-hectare vineyard in Ticino, where his father Daniel was considered a pioneer of a new winegrowing culture. The Montagna Magica, a pure Merlot, is famous and is also part of the "Mémoire des Vins Suisses" collection. Rare wines in the cellar are Chardonnay and Completer. The winemakers offer their wines for free tasting before dinner. These can be ordered as a wine accompaniment during dinner.
