The Museum Night is a cultural highlight in the Engadine. Museums and archives between Sils & Maloja, Samedan & Pontresina, St. Moritz & Celerina open their doors for free for one evening and exhibit their treasures.
As part of the Engadin Museum Night, Thomas C. Walther (Pontresina), President of the St. Moritz Racing Club, talks about White Turf, the horse races that inspired the sculptor Giuliano Pedretti to create iconic works.
"Leave everything in question. Don't get bogged down in the highly dramatic. Over, over, just sketching out the most important things…", Pedretti noted in 1962.
