Due to the growing wolf population in the Engadin, more and more flocks of sheep are guarded by livestock guardian dogs.

How do we behave if we come across a herd accompanied by livestock guardian dogs during our hike? And what do we do if we are out and about with a dog ourselves? The people responsible for the Engadin sheep alp Val Gianduns in S-chanf provide information on site about the behavior of these animals and show us how to ensure safe encounters with livestock guardian dogs in practice.
