The Bergell border valley connects Switzerland with Italy, northern Europe with southern Europe. It is a gateway to the Alps, a transshipment point for goods and ideas, and the starting and ending point of formerly perilous Alpine crossings. Over the centuries, all of this has transformed the rugged mountain valley into a surprisingly rich and diverse living and cultural environment that is more than worth exploring! The musical and cultural-historical tour "Border Crossings" leads to special places from Maloja down to Chiavenna. At each stop, guests can expect exciting stories as well as special sounds and songs performed by the young voices of the incantanti vocal ensemble. Culinary specialties also bring the Bregaglia/Valchiavenna region to life and provide refreshments. "Border Crossings" is a day trip by bus and on foot. Sports shoes or light hiking boots are recommended. Lunch is included.
