Christmas concert in Hotel Laudinella

Christmas and a concert by the Saitkoulov family of musicians are a tradition in the Laudinella Concert Hall. Roustem Saitkoulov won 2nd prize at the Konkours Géza Anda in 1997. Since then, he and his family have been coming to the Laudinella as artists in residence. The cellist Claire Oppert has won prizes at various international music competitions and performs as a soloist with renowned orchestras. She has toured Europe, China, South Africa and Australia as a duo with Roustem Saitkoulov. They delight audiences with their musical dialog. Both have already produced several CDs with recordings of Schumann, Strauss, Shostakovich and Chopin. Their daughter Clara, now 21, is clearly following in her parents' footsteps. In 2014, she was the youngest to pass the entrance competition for the Paris Conservatoire. Only six participants are invited to take part in this competition each year.
