Architectural Walks St. Moritz

For centuries, imposing houses with small, funnel-shaped windows and characteristic sgraffito have dominated the landscape of the various villages in the valley.

In St. Moritz, the otherwise typical Engadin houses are less common; the skyline of the Alpine metropolis, in contrast, is more of an urban counterpoint.

On the architectural tour through the center of St. Moritz, we visit some of the central buildings, which reveal a great deal about the architectural development.

This demonstrates not only the creativity of the architects, but also the versatility and pioneering role that St. Moritz has repeatedly played!
